Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is the very gentil massage technique used to reincorporate excess fluid back into the circulatory system. MLD is commonly used to reduce inflammation due to lymphedema or swelling due to recent surgery or other injury. MLD is also often a popular cosmetic treatment when applied to the face reducing puffiness. Common side effects of MLD include reduced swelling, immune system support, neuropathy relief, and stress reduction. If you have any of the following conditions you may not be a candidate to receive MLD; blood clots, cellulitis or other untreated infections, DVT, heart disease, kidney disease or have suffered a recent stroke. See links below for additional information regarding MLD.
